Carlsberg has confirmed a switch of strategy lead at VP level as Anders Krantz takes over from Mikael Jamrozy.

The appointment, which took effect from last month, follows Jamrozy’s switch to VP of value management for the group in July. Krantz (below) has moved from Stockholm, where he was VP of commercial for Carlsberg for almost three years, to the corporate headquarters in Copenhagen where he will also sit on the global leadership group.

He will report in to chief strategy & commercial officer Anders Røed, who was promoted to his current position from the head of Brasserie Kronenbourg in France two months ago.

Krantz’s career with the brewer commenced in 2019, when he joined to cover strategy in Asia. Two years later, he switched focus to Europe before heading to Sweden.

In August, the group commenced the search for a replacement executive VP for Central & Eastern Europe and India when Lars Lehmann said he had “decided to leave … to take up a position outside the company”. Lehmann is staying in post until the end of the year.

Carlsberg will report its Q3 2024 results on Thursday 31 October.
