Digital start-up Drinktank has launched an app designed to connect alcohol brands with those working on the frontline in the on-premise channel.
The concept, which is offered globally, allows brand owners to request information from bartenders directly, rather than through what the company calls “traditional third-party, bartender panel research”. Invitations are sent out through the app to hospitality workers, who are then paid by brand owners for the time.

“Moving from desktop to app means that completing briefs will be easier and quicker, whilst push notifications will keep members up to date on when briefs go live,” Drinktank said.
The company’s business model centres around charging “a separate amount for the management and analysis of the insights”.
The app is available to download free of charge from Apple and Google Play.
