The arrangement will see the beer front curated travel guides and itineraries on the digital platform, starting with trips to Chile. In the coming months, excursions to Brazil, Canada, Colombia and South Africa will be added to the ‘Corona Global Hub’, while consumers can also take advantage of discounts sponsored by the brand on selected experiences throughout this year.
The activation hopes to “inspire people to disconnect and spend more time outdoors”, according to AB InBev.
“With these hubs, we are excited to reach more people – from those who haven’t yet travelled into nature but want to give it a try – to those who are looking for a quick getaway from routine,” said Corona Global VP Clarissa Pantoja. “We are inspiring them all to explore outdoor experiences that help them relax and unwind.”
Corona’s alcohol-free extension, Cero, is poised to have a busy summer after AB InBev lined up ‘Worldwide Partner’ status in January for this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris. The group, which posted a 7.8% year-on-year sales increase for 2023, will report its figures for Q1 2024 on 8 May.
