Calabasas Beverage Co, the parent of 818 Tequila, has appointed Larry Goodrich as CEO and announced details of its latest investment round.
Goodrich, who previously served as CEO of the 818 business and is currently chair of Calabasas, succeeds Michael Novy who transitioned earlier this month to become CEO of Ole Smoky Distillery. Alongside the leadership change, the company announced a strategic investment from the Pérez family, owners of Grupo Solave, the Jalisco-based distillery that produces 818.
Financial details about the investment were not disclosed.
Calabasas is co-owned by Kendall and Kylie Jenner and also features the Sprinter RTD mark in its portfolio.
In April, 818 joined forces with NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger for the 2025 racing season.
