Bronco Wine Co has appointed Trinchero Family Estates’ former operations VP, Kent Mann, as its new chief operations officer.
Mann (below) has joined Bronco following eleven-and-a-half years at Napa Valley-headquartered Trinchero, all of which were spent in the one position. He began in his new role in February, according to his LinkedIn profile, but the appointment has just been announced by the Charles Shaw brand owner.
It was not immediately clear whether the COO post has been newly created. Global Drinks Intel has contacted Bronco for clarification.
A wine trade veteran, Mann previously spent ten years at Gallo, beginning in 2004 as a plant manager and working up to be the senior director of supply chain logistics.
Bronco CEO Dom Engels said: “Kent’s diverse background spanning military service, consumer goods and the food and beverage industries has given him a uniquely global and cultural perspective on building and leading operations.
“With his extensive experience and forward-thinking leadership approach, we are confident he will play a key role in elevating Bronco to even greater heights.”
Mann is the second ex-Gallo employee to join Bronco in recent months, following the appointment in December of Deb Juergenson as chief winemaking officer.
