Islay single malt Bowmore has released the latest annual Aston Martin-themed packs for three of its expressions, again as a global travel retail exclusive.
Brand owner Beam Suntory will roll out what it says are the final releases from the ‘Designed by Aston Martin’ series next month. The latest news forms part of the marketing arrangement between Bowmore and Aston Martin, which commenced in 2019.
As with last year’s release, Bowmore’s ten-, 15- and 18-year-old iterations have again each been partnered with cars made by Aston Martin; the 1923 Razor Blade, the DB4 and the DB9, respectively. Available in “key” airports, including Dubai, Frankfurt, Hainan, Hong Kong, Istanbul, London Heathrow and Taiwan, the trio will be promoted in-store with a “cymatics technology”-based activation that uses sound vibrations to create designs in liquid.
Earlier this month, Beam Suntory announced plans to release a new blended Scotch brand, Ardray, that uses malt and grain whiskies sourced from its distilleries in three of Scotland’s Scotch-producing regions.
