Bar Convent Berlin is heading east, kicking off an Asia Pacific version of the on-premise trade exhibition for the first time.
BCB Singapore will run over two days towards the end of this year in the city’s Pasir Panjang Power Station venue. The event joins the Berlin, Brooklyn and Sao Paulo shows in the BCB calendar.
According to the organisers, Bar Convent Singapore will be “Asia’s first trade-only event dedicated to the bar, beverage and cocktail industry”. Around 150 brands are expected to feature, among them those owned by Campari Group, Brown-Forman and Remy Cointreau, with “more than 3,000 bar and beverage industry professionals from around the Asia Pacific region” attending.
“We are thrilled to finally bring the BCB brand to Asia and provide the region with their [sic] own dedicated industry platform, in a city which is consistently achieving global recognition for its cocktail bar scene,” said senior project manager Henry Stonham.
Bar Convent Singapore will take place on 6-7 November with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
