UK-based wine and spirits distributor Enotria&Coe, which is owned by Majestic Wine Group, has rebranded to its former name, Enotria.
The change comes five months after the company was acquired by its new owner, in April. The move forms part of a wider repositioning, with Majestic investing in Enotria as a standalone business focused on “premium supply” to the UK on-premise channel, the group said today (18 September).
Alongside the updated branding, Enotria has redesigned its website to incorporate features that improve efficiency for customers, including quicker product searches, simplified navigation, an updated “quick order” tool and enhanced product data with downloadable technical sheets.
Interim CEO John Colley, who is also chair of Majestic, said the decision to restore the Enotria name “sends a clear signal to our teams and to the market about our ambitions to get this business back to its very best, and deliver profitable growth both for ourselves and all of our partners”.
The new branding will be presented at Enotria’s Annual Portfolio Tasting on 29 September at The Brewery in London.
In August, Enotria’s then-CEO, Julian Momen, revealed plans to retire at the end of this month, leading to Colley taking over his responsibilities on an interim basis.
