'Project Halo' was presented to selected media as part of an 'Innovation Showcase' event in London earlier this week. The pilot, led by Diageo's senior breakthrough innovation lead for digital, Will Harvey, comprises the use of AI to design labels for bottles based on a consumer's preferences.Starting with a digital interface, the consumer can select AI-generated artwork that is based around existing brand assets. Once the design has been selected, the generation, printing and affixing processes take around 15 minutes to complete.While the group declined to say which of its brands will feature
