The Aquaman actor stars, co-produces and directs the summer-themed ‘Gather’ ad, which will appear on TV, digital and social media platforms. The spot features a series of summer scenes and Momoa himself, culminating in people gathering together to socialise. The commercial carries the strapline ‘Everyday is a Lovely Day for Guinness’.

Hawaii-born Momoa and Guinness first announced their partnership in March this year with the launch of a comic, long-form advert, produced by Momoa’s production company, On The Roam, and forms part of Guinness’ year-long ‘Lovely Day’ campaign.

Momoa is also the co-founder of Meili Vodka, a gluten-free US brand launched last year in partnership with clothing entrepreneur Blaine Halvorson.

Last month, Guinness announced its sponsorship of English soccer’s Premier League for the next four seasons, replacing Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Budweiser brand. Commencing with the upcoming 2024-25 season, the new deal sees Guinness become the EPL’s ‘official beer’, while the Guinness 0.0 zero-alcohol extension is the league’s‘official non-alcoholic beer’.
