Non-alcoholic business DioniLife has penned a distribution agreement with Craftwork in the UK for its Mash Gang brand.

The deal covers the UK-based beer, which Dionilife acquired in September last year. The non-alcoholic start-up has also mooted the release of “emerging spirits brands” in the next month for which Craftwork will serve as the launch distributor.

Mash Gang, which produces beers including Chug IPA and Glug lager, both at 0.5% ABV, was previously available domestically through a host of wholesalers, according to a spokesperson, but this is the brand’s first major distributor in the country. The beer is also sold in Colorado and Wisconsin in the US after striking a deal with Breakthru Beverage Group last month.

Further details around the UK arrangement, including which sales channels will be covered, were not disclosed.

“Craftwork has proven that they not only understand the changing landscape of the beer and spirits industry, as alcohol free challenges the status quo, but that they are excited about the opportunities presented,” said DioniLife CEO and founder, Damian McKinney, who stepped down after almost three years as CEO of Stoli Group in 2023.

“We are thrilled that they are on board to catapult Mash Gang and to launch our developing brands.”
