Damm has added the second new brand to its UK portfolio this year, having bought an unspecified share in Dalston’s Soda Co.

The deal will see Damm support production, distribution and “commercial infrastructure” for Dalston’s Soda Co, looking to grow the brand’s presence both in the on- and off-trade. London-founded Dalston’s is the first soft drinks partner in Damm’s new Accelerator Programme, which the brewer said has been “designed to support fledgling beverage brands demonstrating growth potential with manufacturing, innovation and distribution”.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The start-up accelerator programme will be based at the Damm Eagle Brewery in Bedford, previously the Damm Eagle Brewery, which was opened in October 2025 as a “beyond-beer hub” for the Spanish company.

Dalston’s Soda Co chairman Giles Brook said: “As [Damm] continue to broaden their total beverage offering, we believe Dalston’s can play a significant role as their core soft drinks proposition, providing trade customers with an exciting, natural, healthier alternative to traditional soft drinks … . We believe this partnership represents a hugely exciting opportunity to accelerate Dalston’s growth and unlock the brand’s full potential.”

In May, the UK division of Damm agreed the purchase from Greene King of the Old Speckled Hen portfolio of beer brands in the country.
