AB InBev has unveiled a marketing spot featuring the brewer’s “biggest global brands” that centres around moderating the consumption of alcohol.

The Budweiser, Stella Artois & Michelob Ultra brand owner said that the ad (below), titled ‘Choose Moderation. Choose Beer’, “highlights the no- & low-alcohol options that give consumers more choice for more occasions”. The advert forms part of a group-wide “platform” called ‘Cheers to Moderation’.

Activity for the wider campaign is being rolled out across 40-plus markets and includes “major sporting and cultural events, brewery tours and product innovations”, the group said. Global Drinks Intel has requested further details about the activation.

Last year Diageo updated its own moderation-focussed marketing campaign, with a video ad promoting “thoughtful hosting” and responsible drinking.
