The organiser of Bar Convent Berlin has confirmed a consolidation of the trade show’s number of days next year.
Having just wrapped up this year’s event, which started on Monday (12 October) and ran for three days, RX Deutschland said today that the 2027 show will run from Monday 4 to Tuesday 5 October. The decision is based on what RX said was a reflection of “event data indicating that the first two days are particularly important for business activities and professional networking”.
At the same time, this week’s show, which marked BCB’s 20th anniversary, was revealed to have welcomed “around” 11,000 visitors and hosted “over” 400 exhibitors. The respective figures for 2025 were “around” 12,100 visitors and approximately 566 exhibitors.
“The change forms part of a broader strategic development,” RX said. “Going forward, BCB aims to strengthen its role as an essential business platform for the international bar and beverage industry, with an increased focus on hosted buyer initiatives, a dedicated business hub and more targeted networking opportunities. A more differentiated range of participation opportunities will also allow exhibitors of different sizes to engage with the event according to their individual business objectives.
“By combining a stronger business orientation with relevant content and personal connections, BCB aims to create greater value for the entire industry.”
At this week’s exhibition, the senior VP of international trade policy & market access at the Distilled Spirits Council of the US (DISCUS), Rob Maron, flagged the ongoing need for trade-related certainty and predictability for the trade association’s members.
