US-based McClintock Distilling Co has partnered its Forager Gin brand with Savage Soaps to repurpose waste botanicals.
The arrangement has resulted in a soap bar containing botanicals from Forager’s production process with essential oils such as peppermint and juniper. The bars carry an SRP of US$10.99 and can be purchased online through the two companies’ websites.
“Working with local farmers, communities and businesses is a cornerstone of our mission at McClintock and this project is a great way to highlight the spirit of community in Downtown Frederick,” said co-founder Braeden Bumpers. “This partnership is a great way to continue to increase the sustainability and environmental stewardship of McClintock and Savage Soaps.”
McClintock Distilling claims to be the first organic-certified distillery in Maryland and produces gin, vodka, whiskey, cordials and liqueurs.
