Tilaknagar Industries has given Indian-spirit marks Mansion House Brandy and Monarch Legacy Edition Pure Grape Brandy a US push with an advertising campaign in New York’s Times Square.
The three-day campaign, timed to coincide with India’s independence day on 15 August, saw an unspecified number of 10-second adverts played across screens every 100 seconds, between 14 and 16 August. This, the company said, came to 2,592 plays of the video ads which meant they were seen by an estimated 1.2m people.
The Maharashtra-founded company said the two brands represent “different points in the company’s journey”; Mansion House Brandy is Tilaknar’s flagship brandy, which it claims is “India’s largest-selling premium brandy”, while Monarch Legacy Edition was launched in 2024 as the company’s first “luxury brandy”.
Both marks are distributed in California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Texas and Tennessee.
“It is exciting to see Mansion House and Monarch represented in Times Square, particularly at a time when both brands are building a stronger presence in the US,” said Tilaknagar Industries growth & innovation general manager Sanaya Dahanukar.
In May, Tilaknagar Industries was given permission to start production at the newly expanded Prag Distillery in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The site bottles the company’s entire, including Mansion House and Courrier Napoleon brandies.
