‘Through investment in our megabrands and mega platforms, innovation and offering more choices across more occasions, we are strengthening the cultural relevance of our brands with consumers.’

AB InBev quarterly sales Q1 2022-Q2 2026 chart

AB InBev continued its strong performance in 2026 with a 5.6% sales rise in the second quarter of the year, driven by robust export gains for beer marks Corona, Stella Artois and Michelob Ultra.

  • H1 sales increase by 5.7% to US$31.9bn
  • Growth across all reporting regions, except ‘Asia Pacific’

AB InBev continued its strong performance in 2026 with a 5.6% sales rise in the second quarter of the year, driven by robust export gains for beer marks Corona, Stella Artois and Michelob Ultra.

Building on the company’s 5.8% increase in the first three months of 2026, the first half of the year delivered a total sales rise of 5.7%, with no-alcohol beer (+27%) and the ‘Beyond Beer’ division (+44%) also flagged as significant growth drivers.

Volumes in the second quarter were essentially flat at +0.9%, as a 1.1% gain for beer was offset by an identical 1.1% loss for non-beer.

AB InBev highlighted the performances of its ‘megabrands’, which posted a combined sales gain of 6.2% in the second quarter, spearheaded by Corona, Stella Artois and Michelob Ultra, which grew sales outside their home markets by 17%, 19% and 21% respectively.

The strongest growth came in the ‘Middle Americas’ region (+9.8%), alongside boosts in ‘South America’ (+7.6%), ‘EMEA’ (+3.3%) and ‘North America’ (+2.6%), where AB InBev registered market share gains in beer and ‘Beyond Beer’.

However, sales in ‘Asia Pacific’ declined again, falling 2.8% after volumes in China dipped by 9.2% – where the company “underperformed a soft industry”, impacted by adverse weather and the continued weakness of the on-premise channel.

Elsewhere, AB InBev highlighted record-high second-quarter volumes in Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador, adding that beer volumes in Brazil had returned to growth.

“Our performance this quarter reflects the strength of the beer category and the consistent execution of our strategy,” said AB InBev CEO Michel Doukeris. “Through investment in our megabrands and mega platforms, innovation and offering more choices across more occasions, we are strengthening the cultural relevance of our brands with consumers.”

In June, AB InBev announced that it was extending its headline-sponsor berth with football World Cup organiser FIFA to the centenary tournament in 2030. The company has been involved with the global soccer spectacle since 1986.
