Hoplark has repositioned its bird motif front and centre in a packaging revamp aimed at improving the non-alcoholic beverage brand’s off-premise visibility.

The “spring refresh” has been rolled out across Hoplark’s range of hop-flavoured sparkling teas, waters and non-alcoholic beers. The Boulder, Colorado-headquartered company said the new packs of its namesake brand should now be “easier to spot” in the off-premise channel.

“‘Larky’ is the star of the show, tying each of our lines together with a brighter, bolder, easier-to-spot presence across every can,” the business said in a post on LinkedIn. “For our retail partners, this is a portfolio with a real shelf story. Functional by nature, not by formula, and now packaged to prove it.”

Hoplark was founded in 2018 by Dean Eberhardt and Andrew Markley. Brooklyn Brewery, which itself is part owned by Kirin Holdings, bought a minority stake in the brand in 2023.

Last month in the non-alcoholic segment, Heineken launched Outd00r Brewing, a beer-alternative brand that contains electrolytes, vitamin C and magnesium, in the UK.
