A former Diageo and Mast-Jägermeister executive has been recruited by Suntory Global Spirits to become its chief sales officer in the US.
Seth Lorenz (below) has shifted across from the US division of the German liqueur company this week. The vacancy at the Jim Beam owner arose as current divisional CSO Dave Turo headed to Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits to become MD of Suntory Global Spirits’ portfolio at the distributor.
Prior to his time at Mast-Jagermeister US, for whom he also held the post of CSO, Lorenz spent around 20 years with Diageo in the country, where he led “commercial excellence teams, open states, national accounts and more”, according to Suntory. In his new role, he will report in to North America president Carlo Coppola.
Earlier this week, the group appointed Davin Nugent, AB InBev’s former innovation president in its Beyond Beer unit, as the next president of its global RTD operations.
