Moët Hennessy has launched a large-scale marketing initiative for champagne mark Dom Pérignon at Hong Kong International Airport.
Running during this month and next, the push sees Moët Hennessy partner the brand with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Spanning multiple zones across the airport’s East Hall concourses, the activation features Murakami’s signature “smiling flowers” across escalators and on digital screens.
The activation forms part of Dom Pérignon’s global campaign, ‘Creation is an Eternal Journey’, which pairs the brand with seven cultural collaborators, including Murakami. The partnership also includes two limited-edition bottles: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 (above) and Rosé Vintage 2010.
In September, Moët Hennessy switched out its global travel retail lead, with the group’s ‘Latin America & Caribbean’ regional president taking the reins.
