Fifth Generation-owned Tito’s Handmade Vodka has launched in Argentina for the first time, while also expanding its distribution footprint in Peru.
The US vodka brand will be represented by Bodegas Salentein in Argentina and by Bebidas Premium in Peru, changing from its previous distributor in the latter market, Perufarma. Tito’s commercial director for international markets, Alex Borbolla, said the new agreements represent “a very important South American market” entry, adding that Peru was “a very key market in the region, especially with the growing tourism in the country.”
Bodegas Salentein is based in Buenos Aires and also owns the Salentein wine brand. Vodka is the largest spirits segment by volume in Argentina after bitters, according to IWSR data.
In February, Fifth Generation appointed Zamora Co to distribute Tito’s in Spain, Andorra and Gibraltar.
