Pernod Ricard has launched an updated look for the Originale iteration of its Malfy gin brand.

The redesign (below) features the use of silver and turquoise colours, a frosted glass ring and a ‘sunburst’ logo. Heading to market this month, the refreshed pack will be available in Australia, Italy, Turkey, the UAE and the UK while retaining its SRP of EUR35 (US$41) in Europe.

The new look was developed in collaboration with design agency Nude. Pernod Ricard said the move will help further elevate Malfy’s standing as the brand continues to expand both in the flavoured and dry gin segments.

Last week, the brand owner overhauled its commercial structure in the US in a move designed to give greater attention to some lesser-established brands in its portfolio. The GEM unit, which includes Malfy, has been tasked with nurturing what the group’s division in the country describes as “high-potential brands”.
