Nyetimber has agreed a “long-term” partnership with England Rugby, becoming the sport’s first English sparkling wine sponsor.
The agreement covers the England men’s and women’s senior teams and includes pouring rights at the Allianz Stadium in west London as well as at major tournaments including the Guinness Six Nations and Quilter Nations Series. Nyetimber will also present the player of the match award at every England Rugby senior home fixture.
As the “exclusive sparkling wine” partner, Nyetimber’s range will be available across hospitality and fan areas at the stadium, with the namesake brand’s Routemaster Bus featuring in the British Airways West Fan Village.
Nyetimber will be served at the stadium for the first time on 1 November, when England host Australia in the Quilter Nations Series. Fixtures against Fiji, New Zealand and Argentina follow later in the same month.
The partnership extends the wine group’s presence in British sport, following its association with Team GB in 2023. In May, Nyetimber secured ‘official sparkling wine producer’ status with UK governing body British Cycling for another year.
