Ian Macleod Distillers has rolled out a marketing campaign for its Edinburgh Gin brand in the UK.
The company’s activation focuses on the core range including The Classic Gin, Rhubarb & Ginger Gin, Seaside Gin and Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur. The ‘Perfectly Composed’ push is featuring in outdoor sites in cities including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and London, with “extended audience reach” through Meta and YouTube.
The campaign follows the opening of a new distillery for Edinburgh Gin last December, which is situated at The Arches in the Scottish capital’s East Market Street. The brand is listed in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons in the UK, as well as online through Amazon and selected on-premise accounts.
“Edinburgh Gin has always been a disruptor,” said brand manager, Barbara Turing. “We are pioneers of flavoured gin, and we continue to push boundaries which is the spirit of the brand. This campaign is all about celebrating our rich ‘wonder-filled’ flavours, communicating the diversity of our expressions and distilling excellence to connect with current and new gin consumers.”
In May last year, the family-owned company commenced construction of a scotch whisky distillery on Islay through a joint venture with scotch bottler The Islay Boys.
