The new iterations follow the recent relaunch of Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava.

Henkell Freixenet has bolstered its alcohol-free sparkling wine portfolio with two additions to its Freixenet brand.

The German-Spanish business has lined up the release of Freixenet Cordon Negro 0.0% and Cordon Negro 0.0% Rosé, following the recent relaunch of Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava. The fresh iterations will be available from this month in France, Poland and the US with a “subsequent global rollout to follow”.

The alcohol-free products are produced using similar methods to Henkell Freixenet’s full-strength wines before being “de-alcoholised at low temperature with vacuum evaporation to help retain its original characteristics”, the company said.

Last year, Henkell Freixenet added two French sparkling wines to its namesake Spanish cava brand. Then, last month, the group updated the bottle design of its Henkell sparkling wine brand alongside the launch of a fresh marketing activation.
