US-based distributor Breakthru Beverage Group has appointed Glenn Remoreras as its chief information officer.
Remoreras (below) makes the move from White Claw hard seltzer brand owner Mark Anthony Group, where he oversaw a “comprehensive IT transformation”, according to a statement this week. He also held roles at Constellation Brands, where he worked as the IT VP for the group’s beer division.
Details of who Remoreras has replaced in the role were not immediately available.
“Glenn brings to the role a fantastic mix of global IT leadership expertise and experience in the beverage alcohol industry, and I look forward to working with him as we pursue digital transformation across our company,” said Breakthru CEO Tom Bené.
The distribution company, which claims to be the largest beverage broker in Canada and a major wholesaler in the US, said it will continue to “make investments in its digital capabilities, AI strategy and omnichannel service solutions”.
In 2023, eco-friendly beverage packaging group Ecospirits partnered with Breakthru for two spirits brands; Barr Gill gin from Vermont and Guatemala’s Coconut Cartel aged rum.
