Brown-Forman’s Old Forester The 117 Series Extra Old

Two bottles of Old Forester 117 Series: Extra Old
Part of Old Forester's The 117 Series, Extra Old was first introduced in February 2022 with this latest iteration benefitting from a second maturation
  • American whiskey, Kentucky, comprising Old Forester 1910 that has been matured for a further 18 months in a “secondary” barrel, 46.5% ABV
  • On sale in the US from this week, in Kentucky’s off-premise channel through selected outlets and online for consumers in New England, New Hampshire, North Dakota and District of Columbia
  • SRP of US$64.99 per 37.5cl bottle, available in limited – albeit unspecified – quantities

Edrington’s Highland Park 56

Bottle of and box for Highland Park 56
Highland Park 56 marks the oldest expression from the Orkney-based distillery and includes a case influenced by the Standing Stones of Stenness on the island
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Islands, distilled in 1968, undergoing a second maturation in ex-sherry for 16 years, 47.1% ABV
  • Available worldwide from this week
  • SRP of GBP40,000 (US$49,170) per 70cl bottle, limited to 170 units

Pernod Ricard’s The Glenlivet 40 Year Old

The 40-year-old is the oldest permanent line extension from The Glenlivet
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Speyside, 40 years old, aged in ex-oloroso and -pedro ximénez, 46.9% ABV (cask strength)
  • Available from this week online for worldwide delivery
  • SRP of GBP4,600 (US$5,630) per 70cl bottle

Proximo Spirits’ Stranahan’s Founder’s Release 12-Year-Old

Released to recognise the ratification of a formal definition for single malt American whiskey, Founder's Release is "among Stranahan's highest age statements"
  • American whiskey, single malt, Colorado, aged for a minimum of 12 years in first-fill American oak with a portion finished for between one and four years in ex-bourbon and -blonde ale, 60% ABV
  • Available now online for domestic delivery in the US
  • SRP of US$199.99 per 75cl bottle, limited release

Sazerac Co’s Buffalo Trace Prohibition Collection, second edition

The five expressions in the Buffalo Trace Prohibition Collection 2025
Stored in a wooden display case, the Prohibition Collection returns for a second year, featuring iterations of whiskies that were permitted to be produced during Prohibition
  • American whiskies, comprises Mirror Brook, Very Oldest Procurable (V.O.P.), Anderson’s Belle, Old Fashioned Mountain Corn and Silver Wedding Rye Whiskey
  • On sale in the US, including in the country’s off-premise channel, from this month
  • SRP of US$999.99 per set of five 37.5cl bottles, available in limited – albeit unspecified – quantities

Proximo Spirits’ The Sexton 11 Year Old Single Malt

This 11-year-old iteration - The Sexton's first line extension - debuts in Cork and Dublin airports ahead of a wider roll-out to GTR
  • Irish whiskey, single malt, matured for “a minimum of” 11 years in ex-oloroso sherry French oak, 43% ABV
  • On sale exclusively in the global travel retail channel from this month
  • SRP of EUR41 (US$42) per 70cl bottle

Golden Egg

Bottles of Golden Egg vodka
Debuting this month, UK-based Golden Egg will hide an " investment-level" gold coin underneath the stopper of one of every 500 bottles
  • Vodka, UK, infused with honey
  • Available online from this month for domestic delivery to UK consumers
  • SRP of GBP40 (US$49) per 70cl bottle
