Love Spirit Brands, creators of ultra-premium quality spirits and wines in Europe have launched in the US. The brand is well-known for its deep values which it believes has helped craft award-winning vodka, gin, sparkling rose, and wines.
“Diversity and inclusion of thoughts, ideas, and perspectives are cornerstones of how we have developed beverages that have been recognized for excellence,” said Anders Jacobsen, CEO.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Love Spirit has assembled a world-class team and production facility to craft ultra-premium spirits and wines that can be sold at value prices.
The brand was born at a Pride festival in Gran Canaria, drawing inspiration from the joy, purpose, and celebration of diversity that fuels the Pride movement.
“Our objective is to create a line of spirits and wines that are bound together as the best in class,” said Anders Jacobsen, CEO. “We strive for our products to reflect a sense of unity in quality and values—smooth, yet still powerful and unwavering.”
Love Spirit launched a major US awareness campaign as a presenting sponsor of Miami Beach Pride in April as it pursues distribution. “People with similar values really connect and identify with the brand,” said JC Colón, VP of Sales for Love Spirit Brands. “We know they are seeking it out so the opportunity for on and off-premise demand in the US is very high.”
Love Spirit products have won numerous awards as an ultra-premium brand—but are value-priced to sell in the US market. At the 2024 Wine & Spirits Wholesale Association show, Love Spirit Vodka was awarded Double Gold while the Gin and Wines won multiple Gold and Silvers. Women’s Wine & Spirits awarded Double Gold to Love Spirit Sparkling Rose and Silver to Vodka. Love Spirit Gin was also awarded Double Gold making it Gin of the Year 2024 in London.
The company believes marketing should always support a worthy cause that reflects its deep values. In May, Love Spirit Brands was the primary sponsor of the Global Gift Gala with Eva Longoria in Cannes, France to benefit Casa Ángeles, a centre for children with special needs.
“We are developing deep loyalty from consumers that not only love the products, but also identify with our values and want to be seen drinking the brand,’ said Jacobsen.
Although rooted in the diverse and inclusive values of the LGBTQ+ community, Love Spirit as a brand resonates well beyond its core customer segment. “We believe that everyone needs Love and we are all better together,” said Jacobsen. “Our customers identify with what our brand means and it’s reflected in the growing demand.”
Love Spirit has shown great success on-premise in bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels and festivals. People identify with the brand. They are also seeing off-premise chains testing several cases with excellent velocity. “One of our biggest issues is that we have consumers asking where to find the brand,” said Colón. “That’s a good problem to have.”
