Moët Hennessy has released an advert for the Moët & Chandon that features the Champagne brand’s cellar master, Benoît Gouez, and former tennis player Roger Federer.
The spot, which utilises Federer’s brand ambassadorial role, was filmed at Château de Saran in France’s Champagne region and also stars UK actor Lashana Lynch and Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Consumers worldwide will be able to view the clip on Moët & Chandon’s website and social media platforms.
Federer, who retired from professional tennis last year, took on brand ambassador status at the Champagne in 2012.
Earlier this year, business valuation consultancy Brand Finance released this year’s edition of its annual beverage alcohol report. According to the research, Moët & Chandon retained its leadership in the top ten of ‘Most Valuable Wine Brands’ for 2023, although a “public wariness around overconsumption” drove down the brand’s stable mates, Veuve Clicquot and Dom Pérignon.
