Former Bacardi and Pernod Ricard executive Blanca de la Infiesta has transitioned to Zamora Co, assuming the marketing lead for the company’s spirits operations.
Reporting in to CEO Javier Pijoan, de la Infiesta started as global spirits marketing director earlier this month. Making way at the privately-owned group is Julian Fernandez, who left in May to become Edrington’s MD for Mexico, Latin America & the Caribbean.

De la Infiesta’s career in the beverage alcohol industry commenced in 2005 when she joined Pernood Ricard UK as senior brand manager on the wine side. Then, after almost two years overseeing Malibu’s marketing business for the national division, she moved in mid-2008 to the group’s Chivas Brothers subsidiary, where she rose to become senior marketing manager for Ballantine’s globally.
In 2016, de las Infiesta moved to Madrid to join Bacardi, where she spent seven and a half years, rising to global programme director for digital transformation, a position she held for three years until last month.
“We are very satisfied with the incorporation of Blanca into the company because her professionalism, experience, passion and good work will bring a lot of value to the group,” said CEO Pijoan, who also worked for Bacardi, between 2016 and 2019, before joining Zamora last year.
Earlier this month, the company credited its flagship Licor 43 brand with breaking the 1m-case barrier for the first time last year.
