The US unit of Pernod Ricard is leveraging the sport of golf for the group’s Avión Tequila in a Father’s Day-timed activation in the country.

Pernod Ricard USA has recruited professional basketball player Nick Young and Victor Cruz, a former American football wide receiver, to front the activity, which comprises cocktail kits featuring the “ultra-premium” Reserva 44 Extra Añejo and Reserva Cristalino iterations. The two packs, which contain a 75cl bottle of each expression, are available to buy online now in limited numbers for US$230 each.

Joining each of the bottles are a crystal decanter and cocktail pre-mix to add to the Tequila, along with a bag of golf accessories and balls, which have been signed by Young and Cruz.

Avion was the subject of an aural pack offering in the country earlier this month that included a turntable.
