The UK division of Illva Saronno is in the process of rolling out a TV advert in the country for the Velvet cream extension of its Disaronno almond liqueur brand.
The spot, which forms part of a new campaign called ‘New Dolcevita – Dis is our Summer’, will air nationwide from this week until 13 August. According to Disaronno International UK, the ad features Millennials consuming the lower-ABV version of Disaronno.
Velvet, which has a strength of 17%, was added to Italy-based Saronno’s portfolio three years ago.
The brand owner’s recommended serve for Disaronno Velvet is with an equal amount of coconut water over ice.
DIsaronno also owns the Tia Maria coffee liqueur, which it acquired from Pernod Ricard back in 2009 for EUR125m [then US$177.5m].
