Brown-Forman is poised to increase capacity at its Casa Herradura Tequila distillery in Mexico, with US$200m earmarked for the project.
The facility, located between Guadalajara and the town of Tequila in the state of Jalisco, will be the site for a "multi-phase project" with work set to start in July. Starting with the expansion of the current water recycling and treatment plant, the focus will then move to the distillation, bottling, maturation and processing operations.
