Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 30 January.

Chopin Imports and the Lopez-Villareal’s Santaleza Tequila Blanco

The Blanco iteration is joined by a Reposado, with further aged Santaleza expressions due later this year
  • Tequila, Blanco and Reposado, 40% ABV
  • Rolling out to ten US states including California, Florida, New York and Texas
  • SRP of US$59.99 per 75cl bottle for the Blanco, $69.99 for the Reposado

Pernod Ricard’s Malibu Peach

The variant joins not only Malibu Watermelon, Pineapple and Strawberry, but is also launching with a 7%-ABV Malibu Peach Rum Punch canned RTD
  • Flavoured rum with peach liqueur, 21% ABV
  • Released in the US off-premise, nationwide, from this week
  • SRP of US$14.99 per 75cl bottle, also available in 5cl, 1-litre and 1.75-litre bottles. Malibu Peach Rum priced at $12.99 per four-pack of 35.5cl cans

Pallini Limonzero alcohol-free limoncello

The company’s namesake Limonzero is produced using the same Italian lemons as its full-strength sibling
  • Liqueur, limoncello, 0% ABV
  • Rolling out to e-commerce in the US “for a limited time while supplies last”
  • SRP of US$19.99 per 50cl bottle

Empirical’s Soka & Symphony 6 “uncategorised” spirits

Soka is distilled from sorghum cane stalks, while Symphony 6 uses six botanicals, including coffee, lemon and mandarin leaves
  • Distilled spirits. Soka has an ABV of 43% while Symphony 6 is 40%
  • Launching this month in the UK, online to consumers and through Specialty Drinks for on- and off-premise accounts
  • In Europe, where the pair are available online, SRPs of EUR35.40 [US$31] for Soka and EUR50 for Symphony 6

Pernod Ricard’s Powers Irish Rye

The rye-sourced whiskey has been matured in a mix of virgin, first-fill and refill American oak casks
  • Irish whiskey, distilled using rye grown in County Wexford, Ireland. 43.2% ABV
  • Launching on 20 February in Ireland, the US, the UK and online
  • In the US, SRP of US$32 per 75cl bottle

Nyak Cognac’s flavoured French Brandies

The two flavours will be promoted by US rapper Trina, who “won’t just be the face of Peach and Cinnamon, I’m invested in this”
  • Flavoured Brandy, France, both 35% ABV, cinnamon and peach variants
  • Launching this month in the US off-premise channel
  • SRP not immediately available
