Online alcohol ordering platform Provi has recruited a former Beam Suntory and Constellation Brands executive as its president.
Bob Robbins, who has spent the last four years with Juul Labs as Americas president & chief growth officer, starts at Provi this month. As well as group president, he will also be its chief operating officer with his responsibilities covering “day-to-day operations and long-term growth”.
When contacted by Global Drinks Intel, a spokesperson confirmed the positions have been newly created.

After four years with Beam Suntory, where he held a number of field sales and strategy roles, Robbins moved across to Constellation in 2016 to become VP of sales strategy. He left the company a year later to join Juul.
In his new guises, he will report in to founder & CEO Taylor Katzman.
According to the six-year-old company, 10% of “licensed retailers” in the US use its online platform to order wholesale alcohol.
Last week, digital peer Drizly, which runs a consumer-facing platform, switched out its CEO Cory Rellas for COO Cathey Lewenberg.
