Tito’s Handmade Vodka is leading the way in on-premise orders in the US, according to digital ordering platform Union.
A report from the company this week, based on drinks orders made through its app during the six months to the end of August, had the brand as the most-ordered by on-premise consumers when buying a round of drinks. The ‘OnPrem Insights’ report has the Blanco expression of Diageo’s Casamigos Tequila brand at number three, behind the ‘Green Tea’ serve, comprising Pernod Ricard’s Jameson, peach schnapps, sour mix and lemonade or lemon-lime soda.
Straight-up Jameson appeared at number six when ordered in a round, behind ‘well’ Tequila and vodka, with ‘well’ defined as an order where no brand is specified.
On the beer side, Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Bud Light made the top ten, the only beer brand to do so, followed by Corona, which is owned by Constellation Brands in the US, at 17 and A-B InBev’s Michelob Ultra just behind.
Union's definition of a 'round' is "an order of at least three of the same item with no other items ordered at that same time".
