Treasury Wine Estates is preparing for the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon through a tie-up for its Wolf Blass brand across multiple markets.
Wolf Blass Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz will be released in the company’s Europe, Middle East & Africa, Asia and Australia & New Zealand regions in August. Available in limited yet unspecified numbers, the new addition represents the fruits of the brand’s first partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products.
Timed to coincide with the airing of House of the Dragon, Australian blend Fire & Blood will feature three different labels and carries an SRP in the UK of between GBP13 (US$16) and GBP15 per bottle.
Diageo’s collaboration with Game of Thrones almost four years ago for Scotch flagship Johnnie Walker proved lucrative for the spirits group, which launched a raft of limited, themed blended and single malt expressions, including White Walker.
