Hong Kong-based Milestone Beverages has added to its portfolio, acquiring a 50% stake in premix cocktail brand The Mixology Co in Australia.
The transaction, for an undisclosed sum, builds on Milestone's partnership with Mixology co-founder Sean Ekanayake, whose Jonathan Paige International business handles Australian distribution for two of its brands. Mixology, which commenced operations two years ago, comprises seven "classic" cocktails, including Espresso Martini, Margarita and Negroni, all of which carry an ABV of 17.5%.
