William Grant & Sons is releasing two limited-edition iterations of its Glenfiddich single malt as part of the brand’s partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One race team.
The Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old and Glenfiddich 19-Year-Old will go on sale worldwide next month. The former has been matured in American oak ex-wine, new American oak and second-fill ex-bourbon, while the latter, which will be an exclusive to the global travel retail channel, combines American and European oak with ex-Montilla wine.
Glenfiddich global brand director Claudia Falcone said: “This limited-edition bottling is just the beginning as we continue to write the next chapter together.”
William Grant revealed the “multi-year” collaboration with Aston Martin in November last year, without disclosing specific financial details.
