Trade association the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States is supporting its members’ efforts to attract tourists to their distilleries through a new consumer-facing website.
‘Destination Distillery‘, which has gone live this week, provides a platform for consumers in the US to learn more about their country’s spirits producers. Distilleries are grouped based on location and spirits segments on the new website, which also hosts category history and information.
The site builds on the ‘American Whiskey Trail‘, set up by DISCUS 18 years ago that today includes distilleries owned by companies including Beam Suntory, Brown-Forman, Campari Group and Diageo.
Distillery owners wishing to appear on Destination Distillery have been invited to submit their details to DISCUS online.
