Stoli Group has advertised a raft of senior executive vacancies in recent days.
The positions, all of which have been promoted on the Stoli vodka brand owner’s LinkedIn account, include that of group CFO as well as CEO of the group’s North America operations. When contacted by Global Drinks Intel, nobody was immediately available at the company to provide further details about how the vacancies have arisen.
Other positions that require filling include general counsel for the group and an MD role based in Latvia
The CFO role was advertised on the social media platform yesterday (9 February), while the NA CEO position was pushed late last week.
The privately-owned company’s most recent CFO was Artem Pozdnyakov (below), who according to his LinkedIn profile, left the business in June. Pozdnyakov started with the company in 2022, moving up to become CFO a year later when Chris Caldwell took over from Damian McKinney as group CEO.
Just over two months ago, the Luxembourg-headquartered company’s US division, alongside its Kentucky Owl American whiskey unit, voluntarily applied for bankruptcy protection in the country. Speaking to Global Drinks Intel at the time, group CEO Chris Caldwell said that Stoli Group USA was operating manually, having suffered from the impact of a cyber-attack that occurred earlier last year.
At the same time as announcing Caldwell’s promotion, Stoli Group also recruited Mark Federighi as president of its North America division. Federighi, who joined from San Francisco-based O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, managed a year with the company, leaving in July last year.
In 2023, the brand owner, owned by London-based Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, acquired a stake in US no-alcohol brand The Pathfinder Hemp & Root. Late last month saw the US release of a pre-mix negroni RTD from the brand.
