Beam Suntory has teamed its Maker’s Mark Bourbon brand with a new ginger beer from mixers group Fever-Tree.
Maker’s Mark was used as the base spirit for a version of the Kentucky Mule serve, resulting in the flavour profile for Fever-Tree Blood Orange Ginger Beer. The mixer is being released in the US off-premise through spirits and multiple retailers with an SRP of US$4.99 per four-pack of 200cl bottles.
The blood oranges used to produce the ginger beer are sourced from Italy and harvested between December and March.
Last month, Fever-Tree highlighted the “strong demand” in the US for more premium mixers as helping to drive a 14% year-on-year sales increase in the first six months of 2022.
