Diageo has partnered Johnnie Walker’s Black Label expression with Graviky Labs for a limited-edition set of bottles decorated using ink made from air pollution.
The ‘Keep Walking City Collection’ comprises six designs, one each for the cities of Bangkok, Istanbul, Madrid, Mexico City, New Delhi and Warsaw. A total of 2,500 units of each bottle will be available in their respective cities from next month.
The packs feature designs from local artists who have used Graviky Labs’ ‘Air-Ink’, a process that creates ink from industrial carbon emissions. The line is the first phase of a series, although future plans were not disclosed.
Earlier this month, Diageo commenced a pop-up unit concept for sister iteration Johnnie Walker Blue Label in the Global Travel Retail channel.
