US-based start-up Faccia Brutto Spirits has lined up its expansion to six European markets.
Six different expressions from the bitters producer will be available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany and the Netherlands from this week. Faccia Brutto – a derivation of the Italian for ‘ugly face’ – intends to rollout to the UK “later”.
The six bitters under the namesake brand comprise:
- Amaro Alpino – 35% ABV
- Aperitivo – 24%
- Amaro Gorini – 22%
- Carciofo – 25%
- Centerbe – 45%, and
- Fernet Pianta – 35%
The range, all on sale in 75cl bottles, can be purchased online for delivery to consumers in the six markets.
“These ingredients are sophisticated, well-balanced and an asset to any good back bar or keen home cocktail lovers’ collection,” said founder & CEO Patrick Miller. “We are so excited to bring six items in our range to a wider audience in Europe, where great drinks are also very much appreciated.”
