Camus has launched a ‘reuse & refill’ programme for the XO expression of its namesake Cognac brand.

Camus XO, which debuted last month, is on sale in an unbranded decanter with a removable, “very discrete side label”. Retailing for EUR320 [US$340] per 75cl unit on the brand’s website, the Cognac can be ordered in 50cl bottles when the decanter is two-thirds empty.

Once the liquid has been added to the vessel, the 50cl bottle can be returned to Camus for reuse.

The service is available in France from this month ahead of a wider roll-out across Europe next year.

Another Cognac innovation came to light last month when Rémy Cointreau unveiled an ‘on-the-go’ pack format for its high-end Louis XIII brand in the US.
