Bacardi is taking its pop-up festival bar across the Atlantic this month for appearances at UK events All Points East and Lido.
‘Casa Bacardi’ (above), which houses a bar and DJ stage, will also host a karaoke event called ‘Bacardi-oke’, hosted by podcaster Madame Joyce, at the UK festivals. The two-storey pop-up unit will be set up from tomorrow (21 August) at All Points East before moving to Lido on 31 August.
The activations form part of a “multi-million-pound” partnership between Bacardi and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), the organiser of the two London-based festivals. Global Drinks Intel has requested further information about the arrangement.
“As festival culture evolves, Casa Bacardi is evolving with it, creating new ways for fans to connect with music, friends and unforgettable experiences,” said Bacardi Rum UK marketing manager Lesley-Anne Cohen. “With a high-energy line-up of DJs, Bacardi-oke and personalised Bacardi & Coke serves, we’re creating an unrivalled destination that will be at the heart of the festival … .”
Casa Bacardi has also appeared this year at Solar and Paaspop festivals in the Netherlands, Sueños and EDC Festival in the US and Parookaville in Germany. Last month, the family-owned spirits company installed the pop-up at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Campari Group also appeared at the four-day music festival with an on-site activation for Aperol.
