Stock Spirits Group has been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis ‘gold’ rating, placing the company among the top 1% of the spirits industry for sustainability performance and among the 5% of assessed companies worldwide.
This was the group’s fourth EcoVadis assessment, and the first to incorporate the companies it acquired in 2023. The new rating reaffirms the group’s ‘gold’ status for a second consecutive year, with an overall score of 82/100 points, a five-point improvement from the previous result.
The score reflects continued strength across the organisation in the environment and labour & human rights categories, alongside significant progress in ethics and sustainable procurement.
The recognition follows the publication of Stock Spirits’ 2024 Sustainability Report, which highlighted the company’s continued progress across its three ‘Sustainability Strategy’ pillars: ‘People, Planet and Processes’. From opening the new Lublin Distillery and developing its people to strengthening governance, responsible sourcing and supporting local communities, the group is embedding sustainability into every part of its business and culture.
“We are proud to have maintained our EcoVadis ‘gold’ rating with an improved score, recognising the continued progress we are making across our business,” said company CEO Jean-Christophe Coutures. “Sustainability is embedded in how we invest, operate and lead, and this award underlines our commitment to sustainable growth and to driving positive change for future generations.”
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, assessing more than 130,000 companies globally. The ‘gold’ rating is awarded to companies demonstrating advanced sustainability management practices and results.
