The 17th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE) will take place on 24–25 November at RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

This year’s show will feature exhibitors from Mauritius, Lebanon and Panama for the first time, alongside leading bulk-producing nations including Spain, France, Italy, Chile, Australia and New Zealand. Organised by Vinexposium, highlights include a ‘Silent Tasting Room’, the WBWE Academy of masterclasses on logistics, dealcoholisation and sustainable packaging, and the International Bulk Wine Competition, which this year introduces a ‘Grand Gold Pitch’ for top-awarded wines.

Last year’s show attracted 1,988 visitors from 70 countries and 245 exhibitors from 25 nations.

Bulk wine now represents around one-third of global wine trade by volume, with growth driven by packaging innovation, cost efficiency and increased demand for no/low-alcohol and ready-to-drink formats, according to the organiser.

In July, Vinexposium outlined its intention to emphasise the spirits and no- & low-alcohol areas of its legacy-wine-led series of trade shows.
