Last week’s Wine Paris trade show hit a new high for visitor numbers, according to figures released by event organiser Vinexposium on Friday (13 February).

The three-day exhibition, which returned to the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue in the south-west of the city, attracted 63,541 visitors, the organiser said. The figure represents a 20.7% rise on 2025’s version, which beat the previous year by 27.6%.

With 51% of attendees hailing from outside France, Vinexposium subsequently claimed that Wine Paris, formerly known as Vinexpo & Wine Paris, “confirms its growing global reach and its role as a structuring force for the industry on an international level”.

The announcement comes almost exactly a month before rival trade show ProWein takes place in Düsseldorf in the west of Germany. The total visitors for Wine Paris last week is almost 2,500 ahead of the record attendance for ProWein, which also runs over three days, that was set in 2019.

Vinexposium also announced a change of lead last week. Rodolphe Lameyse, who has been CEO of the division since Vinexpo moved from Bordeaux to Paris in 2020 (and became Wine Paris two years ago), will head to parent Comexposium to head up the group’s food & beverage events. Taking on his responsibilities are Nicolas Cuissard, who became the director of Wine Paris in September, and Grace Ghazale, who switches from Comexposium to Vinexposium to be its director for overseas events.

As well as Wine Paris, Vinexposium organises the Vinexpo branded exhibitions in Hong Kong (for Asia), India and Miami, along with the World Bulk Wine Exhibition in Amsterdam, which takes place at the end of November.
