Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 21 September.

The Macallan Time:Space Sherry Cask bottle and box

The third expression in The Macallan's ultra high-end Time:Space series is the brand's "first release matured entirely in casks seasoned by [Edrington's] own in-house sherry"

Edrington’s The Macallan Time:Space Sherry Cask

Scotch whisky, single malt, Speyside. Twenty years old, matured “predominantly” in European oak ex-sherry, then finished for around two years in ex-sherry casks from Valdespino, which Edrington inherited through its acquisition of Grupo Estévez in early 2023, 44.8% ABV
Unveiled late last week, initially as an exclusive through The Macallan’s branded outlet in Harrods in London. Availability will expand to online for worldwide delivery next month
SRP of GBP1,100 (US$1,473) per 70cl hollowed bottle. On sale in limited – albeit unspecified – quantities
